It is the responsibility of the tutor to ensure that hygiene is not compromised through poor processes or lack of attention to detail.
In keeping with Western Australia’s current Public Health Directions, both in-person & online tutoring are permitted in Western Australia.
Students are made aware of the hygiene standards applicable within the iLEARN4EVER Hub. On arrival for the session, the student is required to hand sanitise, clean up after themselves, keep chairs & desks tidy & place any rubbish in the bin.
Expectations about a clean & tidy space are also role-modelled by tutors by ensuring that the iLEARN4EVER Hub is neat, clean, well-aired & ordered. The iLEARN4EVER Hub is physically cleaned between tutoring sessions, ensuring the room is presentable for each & every session.

Safe Private Education During a pandemic
iLEARN4EVER Australia offers remote & distance learning programs during a pandemic.
Food & drink
As a general rule, food & drinks should not be eaten in the iLEARN4EVER Hub. Students may be encouraged to have a water bottle in order to stay hydrated. Otherwise, food can be eaten outside or in a common area away from the iLEARN4EVER Hub. Water bottles should never be shared between students, & students should not touch the personal property of others without permission.
Tissue boxes & alcohol wipes
Tissues & alcohol wipes are available & used @ iLEARN4EVER Hub. Students can sanitise desks after use & also any whiteboards, whiteboard markers or other materials used.
Highly perfumed deodorants & colognes
A high proportion of students & also tutors are negatively affected by artificial scents & chemicals in products used for bodily hygiene. Some are also affected by aerosols. Some students & tutors get severe headaches if exposed to the chemicals in scented products & some can taste chemicals & feel numb or itchy. Therefore, it is important to be proactive about students needing to keep themselves & others safe by understanding the impact of scented products on others.
